Arraignment date set for LSU's Jalen Mills
BATON ROUGE- An arraignment date for LSU defensive back Jalen Mills has been scheduled for Oct. 14.
Mills is charged with simple battery, a misdemeanor, for allegedly striking a woman in a May incident at his apartment complex. He plans to plead not guilty.
Mills' court date is the Tuesday after LSU's game at Florida and before the home game against Kentucky.
Mills started at safety in LSU's first two games.
According to a warrant, the woman needed four stitches to close a gash on her lip following an alleged altercation with Mills after she knocked on Mills' door looking for a friend.
