Armed man sought for gas station robbery
BATON ROUGE - Police asked for the public's help identifying an armed man who robbed a gas station worker Monday morning.
Cpl. Don Coppola said the man robbed the Circle K on Brightside Drive around 6 a.m., demanding money from the employee after showing them a gun.
Police said no one was hurt.
Coppola said the robber was a black man standing between 5' 8" and 5' 9", weighing 140-150 pounds and wearing a black hooded jacket with tan pants and white tennis shoes.
