BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies released photos Thursday of a man who they said robbed the Siegen Lane Target overnight.

Detectives said a worker was collecting money from the registers around 10:45 p.m. when the man approached her, lifted his shirt and showed her a gun.

EBRSO said the man told her not to move or call anybody. He then used the keys to the register to steal money from the cash drawer, then fled the store. He was seen leaving in a silver four-door vehicle, possibly a Chevy Impala.

Detectives described the robber as a black man in his mid-twenties, around six feet tall and weighing 180-220 pounds, with a dark complexion and shoulder length dread-lock hair. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about this theft or the robber's identity should call the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at (225) 389-5000.
