BATON ROUGE - Number-three Arkansas tees it up this afternoon against top-ranked LSU in the battle for "The Boot."
A second loss would be a major blow to the national title hopes of the Razorbacks, who are 6-1 in the SEC and 10-1 overall.
The Tigers are 7-0 in the conference and 11-0 overall.
The game matches the Arkansas passing game led by quarterback Tyler Wilson and an LSU defense with a strong pass rush and a deep, play-making secondary. It also features the two highest-ranked teams to meet in Tiger Stadium since 1959, when then number-one LSU beat third-ranked Ole Miss 7-3.
The Razorbacks are 4-13 all-time against the number-one team in the country. Their last win over the number-one team was a 50-48, triple-overtime victory over LSU in Baton Rouge in 2007.
