FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas coach John L. Smith says a few wins have gone a long way to restoring the team's confidence.
The Razorbacks (3-4, 2-2 Southeastern Conference) went from being a preseason top 10 team to an afterthought in the SEC after a four-game losing streak. The Razorbacks have since won two in a row against Auburn and Kentucky - a mark they'll look to improve on this weekend when they host Mississippi in Little Rock.
Arkansas must win three of its final five games to become bowl eligible, a difficult task against teams with a combined 31-7 record.
The Razorbacks will start against an improved Rebels (4-3, 1-2) team under first-year coach Hugh Freeze.
