Arkansas has final chance to end streak at LSU
FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas' season will come to an end this week at LSU.
First-year Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema hopes to make the most of the season's final days - and possibly put an end to the longest losing streak in school history.
Arkansas (3-8, 0-7 Southeastern Conference) lost its eighth-straight game last week against Mississippi State, a difficult one in which the Razorbacks led before falling in overtime.
Bielema, who was hired away from Wisconsin last December, has yet to win an SEC game in his first year in the league. He'll have his final chance this season against the No. 15 Tigers (8-3, 4-3), who are coming off a 34-10 win over Texas A&M.
