HOUMA- Two wanted fugitives from Arkansas were caught and arrested for possession and use of illegal drugs.

Police say that earlier this week Arkansas authorities contacted the Terrebonne Sheriff Office asking for help to locate Lonnie Johnson, 41, and his wife Karen Johnson, 33, who might be hiding in the parish.  Both were facing prison time for making and possession of crystal meth.

The fugitives were found by police at a local pharmacy buying products needed for a meth lab.  After they were arrested, the house where they were staying was searched. The investigation yielded a one pot meth lab, two grams of meth, and an ounce of marijuana.

Lonnie and Karen Johnson were both booked as Arkansas fugitives on various meth charges. Sandra Johnson, 59, and Jody Pellegrin, 51, were also arrested in connection with the outlaws.
