APSO releases smart phone app for crime info

NAPOLEONVILLE - The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office announced the release of "AppArrest", an application for smart devices allowing residents to access parish law enforcement information.

APSO said the app will allow users to access information about registered sex offenders, stay updated on wanted persons, access crime maps, and submit tips to law enforcement.

The app is free and is available for Apple and Android devices.
