BATON ROUGE - Fire investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked an apartment fire Wednesday night in Baton Rouge.
The flames forced residents out of their units in the 1100 block of Bruce Alley around 10:00pm.
It took firefighters about 30 minutes to battle the flames and smoke. The fire was contained to one unit of the building, but others sustained smoke and water damage.
Everyone living in the building were able to get out safely and the Red Cross is assisting.
Foul play is not suspected in the fire.
