AP preseason Top 25 has Tigers at No. 5

BATON ROUGE - The LSU Tigers are number five in The Associated Press preseason Top 25.

Coming in at No. 1 is defending national champion Alabama with 33 of 61 first-place votes. No. 2 Clemson with 16 first-place votes. No. 3 Oklahoma with four first-place votes. And No 4. Florida State with five.

No. 5 LSU, No. 6 Ohio State and No. 7 Michigan all received one first-place vote.
