BATON ROUGE – A symbolic flyover minutes before Saturday's LSU vs Arkansas football game will go on as planned despite being canceled the day before.

At first, the F-15 flyover was said not to be happening.  Friday, an LSU spokesperson said it was due to events out of the university's control.

Though, late Friday evening, plans were able to be put back together and the flyover was rescheduled.  As of Saturday morning, two pilots had been secured, flying two F-15s.  One of the pilots is an LSU graduate, sources told WBRZ.

The planes are expected to fly north to south over Tiger Stadium at 10:53 just as the National Anthem is ending.

The flyover coincides with the football game on Veterans Day.

Other game day events are still scheduled as planned.
