Another round of storms
A ***FLASH FLOOD WATCH*** is in effect until 7pm Thursday for the entire area.
Subsequent rounds of showers and storms could be heavy at times but are not expected to be as extreme and widespread as Wednesday's event.
Look for more scattered showers and thunderstorms today which could produce heavy downpours, frequent lightning and gusty winds. Particularly persistent storms may cause ponding of water on roadways and in areas of poor drainage. Flash flooding continues to be a possibility. Current computer model guidance pegs today's round for 11am - 6pm. Mostly cloudy skies and times of rain will hold thermometers in the lower 80s but it will still be muggy.
Alas, a break is expected overnight with some clearing in our skies. Lows will linger around 70°.
