Another Friday traffic fiasco on the Basin Bridge
GROSSE TETE- Drivers traveling eastbound had to deal with another mess of traffic due to a wreck in Iberville Parish Friday afternoon.
Traffic cameras showed traffic was stopped almost across the entire 18-mile long bridge over the Atchafalaya Basin for about an hour.
The incident comes a week after the bridge was shutdown due to a wreck in the same direction that left drivers stranded for hours.
There were no reports of any serious injuries related to Friday's crash.
