BATON ROUGE- Chad Michael Murray is enjoying his time in Louisiana, where he is filming the movie "Left Behind."
And, he's not shy about what he is doing on and off the set. Keeping his Instagram busy, posting pictures constantly from inside the sound stages at Celtic Media Centre to the levee of the Mississippi River where, apparently, he enjoys drinking and spending time with his dog Joe.
"Drinking in the sunset with Joe," Murray posted last week. "Wrapped day 1," the text continued attached to a filtered picture of the river. He appeared to be standing near the USS Kidd; the shot was looking west into Port Allen.
The photo has 3,760 likes, and comments from numerous people about how beautiful the Louisiana sunset is.
It seems Murray has also found most local's sore spot: Baton Rouge traffic. "Green means go," he posted of a green light that switched on a traffic signal on Energy Drive, off Corporate.
Murray's Twitter feed is also filled with pictures of Joe sleeping, and shots of the working set. Numerous pictures of what appears to be a plane and other transportation vehicles used in the movie abound. Murray also took note of Wednesday's nasty weather, posting a picture of storm clouds with the hashtag "#HumidityAtItsFinest."
Murray, who is known for the TV drama "One Tree Hill" among the 25+ crowd, is starring in the movie based on a series of christian novels with Nicholas Cage.
Cage was seen in the Southdowns neighborhood Thursday night.
Fantastic Four is also set to begin production in September. It is expected to draw a huge crowd of crew and actors.
