BATON ROUGE - The annual Wearin' of the Green parade will hit the streets, as scheduled Saturday morning.

The parade, celebrating St. Patrick's Day, rolls at 10 a.m. on its traditional route. You can watch the parade live on WBTR TV, part of the Manship television stations group. WBTR airs over the air on channel 41.1, on Cox 19 & 1019, AT&T 19, and Eatel 144. The parade will also be streamed live on WBRZ.com.

"A lot of people say it's their favorite day of the year," Rosie Ray said as she prepared for the parade to roll in front of her house.

The parade attracts thousands of people each year. The first Wearin' of the Green Parade rolled on March 13, 1986.
