Announced SEC games include 2 LSU night kickoffs

BATON ROUGE - Game times and network designation of 32 Southeastern Conference football games, including a pair of nighttime kickoffs for the LSU Tigers, were announced Thursday on the SEC Network.

The games are scheduled across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and the SEC Network with additional selections to be determined as the 2015-16 NCAA football season progresses.

The two LSU games that were announced provide for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff at home against McNeese State on Sat., Sept. 5 (SEC Network alternate) and an 8:15 p.m. kickoff at Mississippi State on Sat., Sept. 12 (ESPN).

The season opens up on Thursday, Sept. 3 with two non-conference matchups: the Belk College Kickoff Game in Charlotte, N.C. Featuring North Carolina vs. South Carolina on ESPN at 5 p.m., followed by Western Kentucky at Vanderbilt on the SEC Network at 7 p.m.

The SEC Network will carry a total of seven matchups in the opening week with its SEC Network Alternate channel airing an additional three games. All SEC Network and SEC Network Alternate games will be available for streaming on WatchESPN.
