The St. Mary Sheriff's Office is currently investigating an animal cruelty case.
According to deputies, approximately 180 to 200 head of livestock, including horses and cattle have been neglected.
Deputies say several dead animals were found, and many have been neglected as far as feeding, medical, and general care.
The precise location and owner name is being withheld at this time, but the owner has been cooperative.
The Sheriff's Office is awaiting results of veterinarian's examinations of some of the animals.
Several local residents have offered assistance but until the animals are deemed healthy, they cannot be moved.
