LSU Facility Services rescues bird stuck near LSU
BATON ROUGE - LSU facility workers rescued a bird caught in some kite string and dangling over the streets near LSU Friday.
Witnesses said the bird was caught in kite string. LSU students tried their hardest to help rescue bird and even made a few phone calls.
Animal control workers said they didn't have the necessary equipment to get the bird down, so LSU Facility Services were called in. They used a bucket truck to reach the bird and bring it down safely.
