BATON ROUGE- Planning and zoning approved a permit for a press box and concession stand at a high school football stadium that neighbors have complained about.
The Dunham High field, off Siegen near Perkins, had to settle complaints about the sound. The football facility is not on the school's campus.
People in the Natchez Trace neighborhood complained about the sound. At a community meeting recently, residents met with school and city leaders. Everyone promised to work together to resolve issues.
The press box is in a noise buffer zone.
