Alligator Hunter among celebrities at weekend benefit

Reality TV Star Troy "Chute-Em" Landry will be a celebrity guest this Sunday at a benefit to raise money for the Pierre Part Fire Department.

The Department is made up of all volunteers. Landry is well known in this area for his role on "Swamp People," a reality show that profiles alligator hunters. It airs on "The History Channel."

The Pierre Part Fire and Rescue Food Fest will be held this Sunday, October 10 from 11am-6pm at St. Joseph the Worker Hall. That's located at 3304 Highway 70.

Cajun Cooking Teams will be on hand for you to sample the finest foods. Among some of the foods are: Seafood Gumbo, Deer Sauce Piquant, Crawfish Stew, Turtle Sauce Piquant and Fried Alligator.
