An Oakdale man, who escaped from the Allen Parish jail while being bonded out April 5, has been captured.
Courtney L. Hobson was caught after detectives received information that he could be found at a Rapides Parish home.
Rapides sheriff's deputies, along with the U.S. Marshals, went to the home, where they found Hobson in the yard.
He was arrested without incident along with his girlfriend, Shardelle Kirklin of Oakdale.
She was charged with obstruction of justice.
Deputies say Hobson escaped by running through a door after a visitor was let in.
He had been arrested by Oakdale police a few days before on a possession of marijuana charge.
