All lanes opened on New Bridge after morning crash
BATON ROUGE- All lanes of the "New Bridge" over the Mississippi River Bridge have reopened to westbound traffic, after being shutdown for the morning and lunch rush times Monday.
The bridge closed shortly after 9:00 a.m. after a crash where someone died.
For hours, I-10 West has been gridlocked as police shuffled drivers from I-10 onto I-110 and over the river via Hwy. 190.
Traffic cameras show bumper-to-bumper traffic almost to the I-10/I-12 split.
