All lanes open on Miss. River Bridge after crash
PORT ALLEN - The left lane of I-10 East on the Mississippi River Bridge was briefly blocked late Monday morning after a crash and traffic backed up to LA-415 as a result.
The crash happened shortly before noon on I-10. Traffic continued to pass through the center and right lanes while Louisiana State Police worked to clear the wreck. All lanes were reopened shortly before 12:15 p.m. on Monday.
EMS confirmed they took the driver of a small vehicle involved in the crash to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
