BATON ROUGE – Officials said all lanes are open on I-10 East after an early afternoon wreck caused heavy traffic through Baton Rouge.

Department of Transportation and Development officials said congestion on I-10 had reached 9 miles from the Mississippi River Bridge to College Drive.

Traffic officials said all lanes have reopened, but advised drivers to consider alternate routes.
