All lanes open on I-10 west near new bridge
BATON ROUGE - DOTD says all lanes opened up on I-10 west near the new bridge at around 3 p.m., but there is still residual traffic.
An overturned semi trailer closed I-10 west just past the I-10/110 split for five and a half hours.
Traffic is being diverted off the interstate at I-110. DOTD's detour route says exit I-110, turn left on Government Street, left again on Highland Road and get back on I-10 from there.
As of 3 p.m., traffic is backed up to the College Drive exit. No word yet on when the road will reopen.
