All lanes of I-12 East near Walker reopened after vehicle fire
BATON ROUGE - State police report all lanes of I-12 East near Walker are back open after a vehicle fire on the shoulder resulted in lane closures on the interstate early Monday evening.
Traffic was just beginning to back up shortly before 4 p.m. as the closure of the interstate near mile post 15 in Walker went into effect with troopers initially expecting the right lane to remain closed for about an hour. Traffic was backed up past the Juban exit by the time all lanes were open again.
