The city of Alexandria is considering four proposals as it looks for a partner in a project to operate three downtown hotels, including the historic Hotel Bentley that has been closed since 2004.

Mayor Jacques Roy said the deadline for reaching a three-property agreement with a management firm is December 1.

The other two hotels involved are the Alexander Fulton and the Riverfront Center.
