Alexandria man accused of flashing traffic

Alexandria police say 50-year-old Jimmy Sherman has been booked with obscenity for allegedly flashing traffic.

Officers received a complaint of a man bothering traffic and interviewed a woman who said she was driving down the street with her young child when they passed a man flashing traffic.

In addition to being charged with obscenity, police say Sherman was charged with resisting arrest.
