BATON ROUGE- State Police issued an advisory for two kids believed to have been kidnapped by at least one of their parents earlier Wednesday.

Chase Hakken, 2, and Cole Hakken, 4, were snatched from their grandmother Wednesday morning at a home in Tampa, Florida. The grandmother was tied up and left inside the house. Authorities said Joshua Michael Hakken, 35, took the kids while his wife, Sharyn Hakken, 34, was waiting outside.

Authorities in Florida believe the group is on their way to Louisiana, where the Hakkens lost custody of the two children recently.

An Amber Alert was issued there, and police in Louisiana issued a "Level One Media Advisory," not quite an Amber Alert, Wednesday night.

The children could possibly be in a black 2006 GMC Sierra registered to Hakken. The truck's license plate is Florida tag number U95KT.

The couple lost custody of the two boys after attending an anti-government rally in Louisiana. The father was charged with possession of drugs in the presence of the children. The boys have been with their grandmother since mid-2012, Tampa-area ABC affiliate WFTS reported.

Police in Florida said the Hakkens are considered armed and dangerous.

"We still have un-answered questions from the events in Louisiana prior to today's events here in Hillsborough County. We are working closely with the FBI and government officials in the State of Louisiana to attempt to obtain a better picture of the history of this family and the circumstances which lead to the removal of the children from their parent custody and ultimately the terminations of all parental rights," authorities in Florida said.

WFTS also reported that after losing custody, Joshua Hakken tried to take the children from a foster care facility in Hammond.  Police said in the altercation in Tangipahoa Parish, he was also armed.

Joshua Hakken has suggested he and his family were trying to get to California before Armageddon. Local police in eastern Louisiana told WBRZ News 2 Wednesday night, he also suggested at one point the kids were going to be sacrificed.

A court in Louisiana terminated the Hakkens' parental rights.

Chase Hakken is described as 3', 33 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes last seen wearing pajamas of an unknown color.

Cole Hakken is described as 3' 9", 44 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes, also wearing pajamas of an unknown color.

Joshua Hakken is described as a white male 5 feet 9 inches tall, 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Sharyn Hakken is described as a white female, 34 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
