Alcohol suspected in St. Helena fatal crash
DARLINGTON - Alcohol is suspected in a two vehicle crash that killed a 47 year old man in St. Helena Parish Wednesday afternoon.
State Police believe Thomas Harrison of Paulding, Mississippi was impaired when his pickup crossed the centerline of La. Highway 10 and slammed into an 18-wheeler. Harrison died at the scene.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the crash.
