Alcohol suspected in crash on I-110
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge police identified the victim of Thursday night's deadly crash on I-110.
Police said Dana Veillon of Eunice was headed the wrong way, hit one vehicle head-on, then crashed into another.
Veillon died at the scene.
Chase Phillips, his wife and two young children were in one of the vehicles. Phillips and his wife were taken to the hospital. The children were not hurt.
In the second vehicle, Sharon Clarke and a 10-year old child were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Police suspect alcohol use by Veillon. She was also not wearing a seatbelt.
