Airline closed, one killed in crash
BATON ROUGE- Airline Highway was closed Wednesday evening after a crash involving a tanker truck and an SUV.
State Police said someone died.
Responders told news 2 crews on the scene that the person driving the SUV had to be cut from underneath the tanker truck. There has been no official word on who was killed.
The crash is near the foot of the Old Mississippi River Bridge.
