GEISMAR - Air Liquide Large Industries U.S., LP says it is using its Geismar facility to increase its supply of nitrogen, oxygen and argon to industrial customers in southern Louisiana.

Houston-based Air Liquide said Tuesday that a new production unit also will supply Nucor Steel Corp.'s new iron-making plant in Convent, which is now under construction.

Air Liquide delivers the products by ground transportation and through a Mississippi River pipeline system.

The company's plant now has three production units.
