AG wants court to make man go to prison
GONZALES- The Attorney General said a man, convicted in connection with a deadly car crash in Ascension Parish almost two decades ago, should report to prison to serve his sentence.
The A.G. recommended a lower court revoke Stanley White's appeal bond. White was sentenced in July 1995 and sentenced to 24 months.
While he appealed, he was allowed to remain free.
Even though appeals were denied, White never reported to prison.
The A.G.'s opinion is asking the court to have White turn himself in to serve his sentence.
