Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell says he hasn't decided if he'll challenge the health care reform bill approved this weekend.
Caldwell says he's got his top staff researching the issue and he's conferring with other attorneys general around the country.
State lawmakers - who begin their annual legislative session next week - will consider a bill that attempts to nullify parts of the Democrats' health care legislation.
The bill by Republican state Sen. A.G. Crowe asserts states' rights to refuse the federal mandates included in the health care legislation and contends the federal government can't require people to buy insurance.
Similar legislation is proposed in more than 30 states.
