DENHAM SPRINGS – Authorities have found a 17-year-old North Carolina girl who’d been missing since last summer in Denham Springs, and arrested the man investigators said convinced her to run away.

Authorities arrested 34-year-old William David Jones after they said they found Faith Manuel at his residence in Denham Springs. Investigators said she was not harmed, and was also taken into custody because she was registered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Manuel been reported missing in June 2010, after investigators said Jones contacted her on the Internet and convinced her to run away.

The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office said she was located through a joint investigation with investigators in this state, North Carolina and Texas.

Jones also had outstanding warrants for Rapides Parish, North Carolina and Texas. He was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail.
