BATON ROUGE - The state Attorney General's Office said AG Buddy Caldwell is expected to be released from the hospital later today where he was being treated after a car wreck.

Caldwell was in a wreck while driving in Madison Parish early Wednesday morning, according to his office.

They said he was in "fine" condition after the wreck, and was undergoing tests at the parish hospital.
