AMITE - The state Attorney General's Office said a former secretary is scheduled to plead guilty today to charges she stole more than $2 million from a juvenile justice commission over nine years.
A spokesperson said Brenda Bickford is scheduled to enter the plea this morning to theft and forgery charges in district court in Amite.
She's accused of taking $1.8 million from the Florida Parishes Juvenile Justice Commission between 2001 and 2010.
