After another home win, Saints seek road success
METAIRIE - With their latest double-digit triumph over a playoff contender, the New Orleans Saints left little doubt about how tough they are to beat in the Superdome.
The next two of their remaining three games are on the road, however, and playoff seeding is on the line.
The Saints are 7-0 at home and 3-3 outside New Orleans. They play next at St. Louis on Sunday, then visit Carolina.
For now, the Saints have their swagger back following a 31-13 victory over the Panthers, who came in on an eight-game winning streak, but never threatened New Orleans after the second quarter.
Coach Sean Payton says there's "nothing in particular" that concerns him about heading back on the road. He just wants his teams to work on "the details of fundamentally improving."
