Aerial spraying scheduled for Tuesday in Iberville Parish
IBERVILLE PARISH – Officials in Iberville Parish say due to increased mosquito populations, teams will conduct a parish wide aerial spraying Tuesday.
Parish President J. Mitchell Ourso Jr. said the spraying will start at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 27 weather permitting. Residents with existing respiratory problems or sensitivity to irritants should stay indoors.
Ourso says multiple planes will be flying at an altitude of 300 ft.
Parish officials say that planes may need to fly either Wednesday or Thursday in the event of inclement weather.
