Adios to Serranos, hello to Barcadia
BATON ROUGE - A well known Mexican restaurant near LSU closed its doors on Sunday.
A statement on Serranos's website says the restaurant decided to end its run after 15 years of business.
In its place will be Barcadia Bar and Grill.
Barcadia already has one location open in New Orleans and is known for it's coin operated video games.
Serrano's says on its website, "while no definite plans have been made, owner Sean Malone says, 'Don't be surprised if if Serranos Salsa Company appears in Baton Rouge again in the future. This is a great concept with quality products and an awesome track record. The history, community service and achievement of Serranos are evident, and our goal is to keep that going.'"
