The ACLU sued today on behalf of four female members of the military to challenge the long-standing policy that doesn't allow women in combat. The women argue the rule prevents them from seeking some leadership positions and makes it harder for them to do their jobs. The ACLU contends women make up 14% of the military but the Department of Defense policy on no combat excludes females from more than 238,000 positions. No comment from the Pentagon.
