Accused dog killer arrested
BATON ROUGE- A man faces animal cruelty charges related to the death of his roommates' dog last week.
The law finally caught up with Shaun Parsons, who has been dodging deputies and the two people he used to live with since the dog was suffocated in an old potato chip bag. Investigators said Parsons, 23, killed the dog after it ripped a piece of his furniture.
"He was not a bad dog at all," said the dog's owner, April Sarau. "He was just a puppy. He was so innocent. He was just a baby."
