Accused bank robber surrenders
GEISMAR- The third and final person wanted in connection with a bank robbery this week turned himself in to authorities after his picture was splashed across TV and posted on the Internet.
Bryan Golden, 30, surrendered Friday night, two days after the bank robbery he is accused of executing. He is charged with armed robbery and armed robbery with a firearm.
Deputies believe Golden walked into the Red River Bank Wednesday afternoon, wearing a motorcycle helmet and pointing a gun at workers inside. The getaway car was found abandoned about two miles away.
Detectives said search dogs led them to nearby River Oaks Road, where they believe Golden was picked up by accomplices.
Cedric Emerson, 31, and Travis West, 32, were arrested Thursday in connection with the heist. West faces accessory charges, while Emerson faces charges of armed robbery and resisting arrest.
