As of 6:17 p.m., the right lane was blocked on I-10 East on the Mississippi River Bridge due to a stalled vehicle. Traffic was passing through the left and center lanes. Congestion reached LA 1.
According to DOTD, the center lane was blocked on I-10 West on the Mississippi River Bridge around 12:40 p.m. Sunday. Congestion has reached Essen Lane on I-10 west and took three hours to clear.
Just an hour before that incident, the left lane was blocked at the same stretch of interstate due to an accident. That incident backed traffic up to College Drive.
