Accident closes Highland Road at Rodney

Highland Road is closed in both directions at Rodney because of a bad accident. A van and tow truck collided late Friday afternoon, resulting in several people being injured.

One person was taken to Our Lady of the Lake hospital with severe injuries.

As of 6:30 p.m., Highland Road is expected to be closed for at least another hour.
