Accessory in Loupe shooting back in jail
BATON ROUGE - Police said one of the men involved in the robbery and shooting of Metro Councilman Chandler Loupe's son is back in jail.
According to Baton Rouge Police, 20-year-old Terrance Thornton was arrested Wednesday evening for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of synthetic marijuana, and resisting arrest.
Police say they were alerted that Thornton was driving a stolen car. When police came to Thornton's house to arrest him, they said he took off running and threw some of synthetic marijuana on the ground.
Thornton previously pleaded guilty in August to accessory after the fact to armed robbery and conspiring to distribute drugs.
