This Monday Morning is a warm and muggy one with partly cloudy skies. Some patchy fog is also around the viewing area. Temperatures are in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
A weak trough of low pressure will remain over the area today. When that is combined with daytime heating and a sea breeze we will get scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Some of these could be strong with heavy rain, gusty winds, hail and a lot of lightning. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and hot with highs around 90.
The storms will continue into the evening hours before they dissipate by 10 PM. Then we will be left with partly cloudy skies and some patchy fog. It will stay warm and muggy with lows in the upper 60s.
Be sure to watch 2une In right now to get all the details on the chance of rain today.
