A warm and bright weekend
Sunshine will be out early for you and your Valentine and thermometers will be warming up. Look for an afternoon high temperature in the upper 60s. After that morning sunshine, a few clouds will attempt to develop this afternoon. A weak cold front dropping from north to south will edge by our area perhaps allowing a brief, light shower-especially in northern, eastern and coastal portions of the viewing area. Chances are slim-only about a 20% bet that any given point in the viewing area experiences rain. Dinner and LSU Baseball plans should be a go. Any precipitation that does develop will be insignificant.
On the other side of this evening's cold front, some clouds will linger allowing Saturday Morning lows to stay in the lower 40s. Temperatures will remain just a few degrees lower Saturday than Friday even with sun breaking out in the afternoon. Sunday will be a gem for outdoor plans. Partly sunny skies with highs running 10-15° above average-the high will top out in the middle 70s.
