A turkey bothers Wolverines
ANN ARBOR, MI - A turkey has captured some hearts at the University of Michigan as it wanders the campus.
It chases passers-by and gets in the way of traffic but its also the darling of social media and shows up as people's selfies. The school's Assistant Police Chief says "[the turkey] hasn't hurt anybody, but he's a very aggressive bird" as well as a traffic hazard.
Police say they started getting calls about the turkey last month after a second turkey was hit and killed by a car on North Campus.
Authorities say they plan to capture the turkey and relocate it and warn people to steer clear and call officers if they see it.
